Empowering Minecraft
World Management
mcaselector.org is a dedicated community-driven documentation hub and mirror for MCA Selector, the most powerful open-source world editor for Minecraft Java Edition. Our mission is to make advanced world optimization accessible to every player and server administrator.
The Story Behind
MCA Selector
MCA Selector was originally created by Querz as a technical solution to a common problem: Minecraft world saves growing uncontrollably. Over the years, it evolved from a simple region deleter into a sophisticated, high-performance visual editor.
As the community grew, we realized that many players found it difficult to navigate GitHub or understand complex technical requirements like Java runtimes. That’s why mcaselector.org was established.
“Our goal is to bridge the gap between complex open-source tools and the average Minecraft player, providing clear documentation and safe access to the latest builds.”
Open Source Integrity
We fully support the open-source nature of the project. All binaries linked here are unmodified and pulled from the primary source.
Simplified Documentation
We translate technical jargon into easy-to-follow guides, helping users avoid common pitfalls and world corruption.
Continuous Updates
As Minecraft updates to 26.1 and beyond, we ensure our users have access to the latest compatible versions of the editor.
Safety & Transparency
We believe in the power of open-source software and the importance of user trust. Here is how we maintain the integrity of this platform.
Zero Modification
Every download link on mcaselector.org points directly to the original GitHub release artifacts. We never re-package, inject ads, or modify the source code of MCA Selector.
Privacy First
We do not require registration, we do not collect your Minecraft world data, and we do not track your usage. This site is a public resource hub, not a data-mining operation.
OSS Community
We encourage all users to visit the official GitHub repository to audit the code, report bugs, or contribute to the project’s development.
Why mcaselector.org Exists
Our values guide every piece of documentation and every link we provide.
Sustainability for Worlds
Minecraft worlds shouldn’t have to be deleted just because they become “too large.” We believe in sustainable world managementโpruning unused data to keep long-term saves playable for years, even decades.
Accessibility of Tech
Powerful tools shouldn’t be limited to power users. We strive to simplify complex NBT and chunk editing concepts so that any player can confidently update their world to the latest Minecraft version without fear of corruption.
Community Support
We believe in the collective intelligence of the Minecraft community. This site serves as a bridge between the technical brilliance of developers and the creative needs of players.
Join the Evolution of World Editing
Whether you are a casual player or a technical server admin, we are here to support your journey.
